Families have shown that they are willing and able to progress the digital education of their children. They need to keep up the good work on this.

Greater access to the internet for children and expansion of their engagement with people across the internet needs to happen within a safety culture. This needs to be developed in conjunction with the school as it has to be a culture young people themselves promote and police, involving adults as necessary.

Only a minority of families of educationally aware and know what their children could independently learn online. For those not yet educationally aware they needs to be support.

It is already possible for many important parts of the overall educational curriculum children need to be learnt independently, either completely independently or extending learning started at school.
